Immersion Heater Repair

Supplied & Fitted

Theres nothing worse than no hot water in your home, especially when you go to fill a bath or get into the shower only to discover there’s no hot water, first thing most people check, is the immersion switch or timer is turned on, well yes, its most likely the immersion element is not working and needs repair or replacement.

Immersion elements usually need to be replaced every 5 – 7 years depending on how much use they get, when the immersion stops heating the water it can either be the immersion thermostat or the element itself, we carry most immersion elements & thermostats as part of our van stock.

We carry most Single & Dual immersion elements in our vans, as we are Phibsboro based and usually work in the area & surrounding area and aim to get out as soon as possible, we can usually give a quotation over the phone, just send us 1 or 2 pictures of the element & switch / cylinder & surrounding pipe work via WhatsApp and we can give you an instant price over the phone.

The average cost of replacing an immersion element is €195 usually take 1 – 1.5hrs from start to finish, (this price is based on a standard 18 x 36 cylinder with a Dual copper Element Sink / Bath).
Prices & times do vary depending on the type of Hot water cylinder & Immersion you have
